Monday morning around 6:25 A.M., many LA locals experienced a St. Patrick’s Day they’ll never forget.
The earthquake was 4.4 magnitude and it was centered 15 miles northwest of the Civic Center, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The local police and fire department reported there was no serious damage.
At least seven aftershocks followed the quake Monday morning, the strongest of which was a magnitude 2.7.
The seven quakes all occurred about five to six miles northwest of Westwood. Most of the aftershocks were magnitude 1.3 or smaller, according to the USGS.
