Snow College’s business club is working on a service project for the Mt. Pleasant Hospital. They will be collecting items for children as well as adults. Club president Liz Anderson told Snowdrift about what the hospital asked the club to collect.
The list of items for children includes: coloring books, crayons, small toys (that do not have small parts to choke on), blankets for young children (2-7 years, about 36×50”), and blankets for older children (8-13 years, 50×60”).
The items for adults that the group is collecting includes: games to play with another person or alone, magazines, books, crossword puzzles, sudoku, etc. (brain-challenging). Anderson also told the Snowdrift “We have already made 10 blankets we are donating. We are also helping collect money for a new crib in their nursery.”
The club will be collecting all of the items at a “baby shower” during a club meeting at February 4th in room 104 of the Business Building at 3:30.
The business and the hospital appreciate any and all contributions.
