This December, fans await the release of the newest installment of the Star Wars saga, which will be released on December 18. After ten years, a new episode is finally being released. Episode VII: The Force Awakens takes place 30 years after Episode VI. While the major plot points are mainly fan speculation, it has been revealed that central characters Han Solo and Chewbacca as well as Luke Skywalker and his sister, Leia, will appear in the film.
J.J. Abrams, creator of “Lost” and director of “Star Trek: Into Darkness” has been trusted to maintain the epic legacy.
Other films to be released this month include Krampus, a horror themed Christmas story, The Lady in the Van, a film about a woman who parks her van outside of a man’s house for 15 years. Christmas Eve, a story about a power outage that traps several different groups of people in elevators throughout New York City on Christmas Eve. And MI-5, which follows Will Holloway who must work with ex-MI5 Chief Harry Pearce to stop a terrorist attack in London.
The collection of films to be released will be sure to satisfy any movie-goer this holiday season.
