For the first time at Snow College, Student Life has arranged a Hallows Eve Bash. This spooky party will take place in the GSC on October 30 at 10:00 PM and will run until midnight.

On the night of Hallows Eve Bash, the GSC will be turned into a scary place with spiderweb, tombstones, zombies, skeletons, and spooky creatures. The ceiling will also be lowered with gossamer to make it even spookier.

“The Hallows Eve Bash is the place to be on October 30! You won’t believe the costumes other students come with! There will be food, fun, and prizes too,” says Maricela Reyes, Legislative Representative of Diversity and Inclusion.

During the night, there will be a doughnut competition in which students have to eat a doughnut as fast as possible while it is hanging down from a string. There will also be a costume competition with multiple prizes. Students can still show up even if they do not have their own costume – there will be plenty of other costumes to look at.

“It will be franken-tastic,” says Ashlyn Bradley, who is a volunteer in the committee planning the event.

There will be a photo booth and face painting opportunities available as well. Student Life has got in touch with two people that will come and do professional face painting. If painting on faces is not enough, students can use their own creative skills by painting on small pumpkins. There will be prizes for the prettiest pumpkins.

The event will be free for creatures, or students, bringing their student ID – otherwise the price is $5.
