If you’re looking for a fun way to brighten up your Monday night, if you’ve had a rough beginning to your week, or if the nightly ritual of Netflix is getting slightly old, come kick off the homecoming week with a steaming cup of hot chocolate. Monday September 21, from 8-10 pm, the plaza will be poppin’ with live music, warm fires, and hot cocoa.

“I heard about the Cocoa Cozy from one of my friends that went last year. He said that the music was excellent, the fires were nice and warm, and the hot chocolate was supreme. I am really excited to attend it this year!” says Emily Taggart, freshman. The occasion can be a great event for the freshmen, as well as the sophomores, because it gives everyone a chance to meet new people. You can show up with two friends and make ten more.

Sophomore, Kissy Horner tells about her experience last year, “The Cocoa Cozy is a lot of fun because it is super social. I remember being nervous to show up last year, but I went with my roommates and we ended up meeting a lot of cute boys. It was even better because the guys would use the line, ‘I got my cocoa, now let’s go get cozy!’ But in all seriousness, it is a great way to kick off all the social events and adapt to rest of the year. I would definitely suggest going to anyone who wants to meet new friends, hear good music, and have a good time.”

The Cocoa Cozy isn’t just a social get-together here at Snow College. It’s about launching into homecoming week and fall with a live band, good friends, and cocoa that warms your heart. It’s a perfect start to an amazing year we, as students, deserve to have. Let’s see if we can make another great experience and drink some premium cocoa this year on September 21.
