Badgers, our very own Inner Faith club at Snow College would like to announce their new meditation room in the Karen H. Huntsman Library. This room gives students the opportunity to practice their religion without interruption, and help build their spiritual well

being. The meditation room took over 4 years to complete due to covid related interruptions. There was a ribbon cutting ceremony that took place on October 28th celebrating the completion of the room. Chief Diversity, Officer Diversity & Inclusion Fernando Monta no said this about the opening of the meditation room, “This room is the only way some of

our students are able to practice their religion without having to go to Salt Lake City or other cities that are outside of Ephriam.”

Emly Parnell who is the vice president of the Food and Faith club said, “I want students to know that this is a place for them. This was funded by stu

dents for students and students should really take advantage of the space.” When Montano was asked how he viewed the room he said “This place is for every

one, to feel at peace to sit down and to take in all of the positivity in the world.” After the ribbon cutting ceremony the Food and Faith club held a meeting wanting to have other religious clubs join together and coexist as one. Celebrating how everyone can practice their religion in a safe and nice environment.
