Hey Snow College, let me ask you a question. Did you know that we have our very own campus radio station? If you answered yes, then congratulations! You are one of the few people who know that! But surprisingly, there are many people who aren’t aware of The Kage!

Now, let me explain. The Kage is Snow College’s student run radio station. The studio is actually located in the Humanities building. As a college radio station, we focus on playing a lot of the Top-40 hits and lots of popular music, but there are also several specialty shows that air on the Kage.

On the Kage, we have all different sorts of shows for all different tastes. For example, maybe you enjoy love songs and all things about dating. If this is the case, then you should tune into “Lover’s Lane” every Monday night from 8-10 p.m. On this show, the Dj’s talk about love and dating and all things mushy, as well as play some of the best love songs around!

Or maybe you are someone who loves movies and new music. The show for you is the “Media Wrap” every Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. If you enjoy movie and music reviews, this is the show for you. As a religious listener of the Kage, I have to say, the “Media Wrap” is one of my favorite shows.

Perhaps your music tastes are somewhat different. Maybe you enjoy listening to and hearing about music that just isn’t really played anywhere else. If this describes your taste in music, then check out “Un-Kaged” every Monday night from 6-8p.m.

Of course, I could go on and on, but there are just too many great shows that you’ll have to check out for yourself! Whether young or old, we have just about everything a person could want to listen to on the Kage. So check it out! Next time you’re driving along, tune the dial to 88.9 FM, and let the good times roll!
