As the semester starts winding down and finals and summer draws closer, time is running out to ask that boy or girl on a date. Guys, man up and ask that girl on a date. Girls, don’t be afraid to ask that guy that’s so cute on a date.

Here are a few ideas for cheap dates since most Snow College students are probably out of money at the end of the semester/year. Let Them Improvise (LTI) has one more show and tickets are only $1, that is a two-dollar date for an hour of comedy, that can’t be beat. Plus, couples should be there at least a half an hour early to get good seats which means time to talk and get to know each other. The bowling alley has discounted rates for Snow College students on Tuesday nights, and a couple could go Skittle bowling to make it a little more interesting than just regular bowling and all one would need to buy extra is a bag of Skittles (instructions for Skittle bowling can be found by Googling Skittle bowling).

As the weather gets warmer there are more outside dates to do. If one has a pickup truck, there is the Basin Drive In movie theater in Mount Pleasant which “has burgers to die for” according to Birkley Ross. While the water may be too cold to swim in, Palisades is a great place to take do a date or a group date and roast hot dogs and marshmallows. Hike to the “S” at night with flashlights.

Students have a limited time before the semester is over to ask the person they like on a date. Now that students have some cheap dates ideas, there is no excuse not to ask them out!
