The Snow College Lumberjack Club is a club that was started this semester. This is a club for the outgoing, hardworking, and hard playing college student. If you want to be involved in giving service to those in need, you like wearing flannel, or you just love pancakes: the Lumberjack Club is the club for you.

The Lumberjack Club meets every Thursday at 6pm for a “Flannel Thursday” meeting in the Home and Family Sciences Building. Every week is a pancake social; they call it a “No Fees and No Worries Zone”.

Levi Cragun is the president of the club. He says that “The purpose of our club is to give students a unique, fun, and good college experience. It really is probably the funnest club here at Snow!”

He explains that “the goals of the club are to provide people in the Ephraim area that do not have the means to get their own fire wood, with wood for the winter. We also want to clean up some trees that are obscuring a beautiful, scenic outlook of our valley found up Ephraim Canyon.”

The Lumberjack Club is unique to Snow College, started by Levi Cragun and Kaydon Stubbs. It is not like anything you will find anywhere else.

If you want to join or find information about the club, there is a Facebook page: “Snow College Lumberjack Club” on Facebook.

Savannah Palmer is a sophomore at Snow College. She is majoring in Communications, specifically Public Speaking with two minors; one in Home and Family Health and the other in Anthropology.
