On March 29, 2019 Snow College announced the Student Body President and Vice President for the 2018-2019 school year: Ben Scheffner and Chelsea Scadlock

The team ran on the Slogan: “Infinite Possibilities, as One.” Scheffner and Scadlock ran for office because they wanted to be student body advocates but realized their possibilities at an interest meeting.

“Next year I really want to unify the student body. I want us all to be more involved in clubs and unite at school events. Whenever there are sporting events or activities at the GSC, I want everyone to feel included and proud to be a badger.” said President-elect Scheffner. “I knew I wanted to be on the SBA team but when I went to an interest meeting, I really considered running for President. It’s something I never thought I would do but I thought it would be worth it. I have loved my time at Snow and want to serve.”

Their platform pushes unity throughout the school as a student body. They want to push this by inviting more students personally to events, pushing social media and marketing more. They also want to push awareness for clubs and get people more involved in them.

“I am hoping to help Snow College be the best it can be and unify everybody and make sure everyone enjoys their time here,” said Vice President-elect Scadlock, “I thought it would be a great opportunity to serve my school and meet new people.”

Snow College Student Life would like to thank all the students that voted in this election.

Jared Devey is currently the Student Body President at Snow College. He is from Wanship, Utah. He is currently working towards his health administration degree.
