In the upcoming NFL Draft a lot of young men will be entering what will be a life changing experience. The following Mock Draft will highlight the top 5 and show the entirety of the first round predictions:
#1, Cleveland Browns, QB Sam Darnold (USC)
Sam Darnold, 20, will be the youngest QB ever drafted in the first round.
#2, NY Giants, QB Josh Rosen (UCLA)
Rosen is considered the most “pro ready” QB coming out of college, and has expressed his concern with going #1 to the Browns. Expect to see the Eli-Era end once Rosen has arrived.
#3, Indianapolis Colts, OT Connor Williams (Texas)
Williams could potentially go #2, but with the QB situation as bad as it is in NY, expect to see him drop to Indy.
#4, Cleveland Browns (From Houston), DB Minkah Fitzpatrick (Alabama)
Cleveland happens to have two picks in the top 5, meaning they can get two top 5 players, including Fitzpatrick, arguably the best DB in the draft.
#5, Denver Broncos, QB Josh Allen (Wyoming)
If Denver doesn’t address QB in free agency they will have to go with someone in the draft. Allen may be a bit of a project, but the outcome may just be worth it.
#6, NY Jets, QB Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma)
#7, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, DE Bradley Chubb (NC State)
#8, Chicago Bears, WR Courtland Sutton (SMU)
#9, San Francisco 49ers, RB Saquon Barkley (Penn State)
#10, Oakland Raiders, WR Calvin Ridley (Alabama)
#11, Miami Dolphins, G Quenton Nelson (Notre Dame)
#12, Cincinnati Bengals, OT Mike McGlinchey (Notre Dame)
#13, Washington Redskins, WR Equanimeous St. Brown (Notre Dame)
#14, Green Bay Packers, S Derwin James (Florida State)
#15, Arizona Cardinals, QB Lamar Jackson (Louisville)
#16, Baltimore Ravens, OT Orlando Brown (Oklahoma)
#17, LA Chargers, OT Kolton Miller (UCLA)
#18, Seattle Seahawks, OT Chukwuma Okorafor (Western Michigan)
#19, Dallas Cowboys, WR James Washington (Oklahoma State)
#20, Detroit Lions, RB Derrius Guice (LSU)
#21, Buffalo Bills, DT Maurice Hurst (Michigan)
#22, Buffalo Bills (From Kansas City), LB Roquan Smith (Georgia)
#23, LA Rams, OG Braden Smith (Auburn)
#24, Carolina Panthers, CB Joshua Jackson (Iowa)
#25, Tennessee Titans, DE Marcus Davenport (UTSA)
#26, Atlanta Falcons, DT Vita Vea (Washington)
#27 New Orleans Saints, QB Mason Rudolph (Oklahoma State)
Picks #28-32 have still yet to be decided as of 1/17/18 until the NFL playoffs are done.
