Snow College faculty and staff are looking for outstanding students, nominated by their peers and instructors, to become candidates for the Lorenzo Snow Award by January 30, 2015.

The Lorenzo Snow Award will be granted to 15 finalists. These finalists are students who stand out to their fellow classmates and professors for exceptional achievement in a variety of fields.

“We are looking for students who have contributed significantly to Snow College this year,” explained Vice President, Craig Mathie, “whether they be club leaders, athletes, employees, or exceptional students. If you know someone who fits this criteria, we’d like for you to nominate them.”

Nominations can be submitted online at snow.edu/awards until January 30. Submissions will be reviewed by a board of faculty and staff, who will then select finalists to attend the Lorenzo Snow Awards Night on April 9.

All finalists will be invited to attend the awards night, at which time the winners of each category will be announced.

These awards have been given out annually, over the past four years, to students who have enriched campus life through their unique styles, personalities, and contributions.

All students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to nominate students who they believe are considerable candidates, deserving an extra bit of recognition this academic year.
