Badgers winning streak grows to four after back-to-back doubleheader victories, which included back-to-back home runs.

Snow College Softball is kicking their season into high gear now that April has come. The final weekend of March brought a match-up versus Colorado Northwestern in Ephraim. The two teams played a doubleheader on both Friday and Saturday. The Badgers won all four games including a huge 19-3 victory. The offense was on fire all weekend totalling a whopping 54 runs. The offense jump started the Badger team; Alexis Poulsen–who was described by Bailie Singleton as “the heart of our confidence when she is on the pitching mound”–won the conference pitcher of the week award, giving the team a needed defensive boost.

The sweep over Colorado Northwestern could not have come at a better time, “We had been struggling but we practiced extra hard and focused more on the fundamentals going into these games” Kadi Bateman stated. Kadi Bateman also happened to state a few other things with her bat this past weekend as she whacked three home runs; “she works hard; it was no surprise coming from “The In’kadi’ble Hulk” teammate Alyvia Woolsey said in response to Kadi’s home runs.
