The Snow College Men’s Basketball team played in Rangely, Colorado against CNCC on January 20th. The Badgers lost to Colorado 82-80.  

At the end of the first half, Jake Bailey’s basket tied the score at 39-39. CNCC then came back went on a 12-0 run and proceeded to take a 13-point lead part-way through the second half. The Badgers didn’t score a basket for three and a half minutes during the Spartans’ scoring run.  

However, the Badgers made a comeback with Elijah Coleman scoring 15 points, including four three-pointers and Thomas Bullock scoring 13 points. Starters, Greg Martin and David Riley also had 10 and 11 points.  

With the loss, the Badgers are now in a three-way tie at 1-3 in SWAC play with USU Eastern and Colorado Northwestern. 

Snow will play again on Thursday, January 25th against Southern Idaho. The game will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be at Snow College.

Kellie Harrison is from Yakima, Washington and is currently a freshmen at Snow College where she is majoring in English. After her two years at Snow College, she plans to transfer to Central Washington University. At Central, she wants to receive her master's degree in English and minor in photography and/or music. Kellie's career goal is to eventually work for National Geographic and travel the world taking pictures and writing articles. She has a love for photography, music, and writing.
