Snow Volleyball: Badgers Crush Western

Snow’s third ranked volleyball team beat Western Wyoming Community College over spring break on Monday. The crowd may have been smaller but the Badgers’ might wasn’,.inning the game in just three sets; 25-8, 25-12, and 25-21.  The only time Western managed to tie it up was in the third set, and the Badgers kept pushing to get 5 more points to win the match. 

With an amazing 11 aces during the match, the Badgers showed the Mustangs who is boss.  Camden Strain, a sophomore, led the match in kills with seven. Close behind were Bridgett Talia and Macy Short with six. Short also led the match with three aces and 19 assists.  This win brought Snow to its twelfth straight home win since 2018.  The Badgers’ record is now 15-2 for the season.  Western’s record is now 3-7. 

A student who has been to all the home volleyball games this semester, sophomore Hannah Hix said, “[The games are] really really fun, and our team is super good and the energy is so good in [the HAC].  It’s just pretty darn good volleyball.”

The volleyball team is on a hot streak, and all Badgers should witness it. If other students want to support their Badgers, their next game is Tuesday, March 30 in Richfield.
