The Solid Rock Christian Club is a club that promotes Biblical Christian values and friendship through events and Bible studies.

Some might shrug off the thought of joining the Solid Rock Club just because they aren’t of Christian faith. While the Solid Rock Club is a Christian club, they accept students from every faith who want to learn more about biblical Christianity.

Jordan Rittmeyer, the off-campus advisor of the club, expresses his thoughts towards intrigued potential club members, “If you’re looking for a club that will challenge your thinking, answer your questions about God and life, and accept you for who you are, the Solid Rock Club is that safe haven.”

Rittmeyer also notes his favorite part of involvement within the Solid Rock Club, “My favorite thing about the club is the fact that we, as a group, ask questions about The Bible, life experiences, and personal views. Members of the club can also do this without feeling judged or put down.”

If one is interested in learning more about the Solid Rock Club, the Solid Rock Club meets at the Solid Rock Café for Bible study, every Wednesday at 7:00 pm. The Solid Rock Café is located across from the LDS Institute on Center Street.

The Solid Rock Club also has a few social upcoming events that might be of interest to prospective club members. A mini putt golf tournament will be held, as well as the club’s annual yard sale. Both of these events will be held at the Solid Rock Café. Times and dates for these events will be disclosed through flyers and monitor ads around campus, as the event dates draw nearer.
