Lauren Richens is an 18 year old freshman here at Snow College. She lives in South Jordan and went to Bingham high school, and graduated in 2014. She decided to come to Snow because of the “great price, good teachers, and classes.” As of currently she is planning on majoring in business and planning on going “to an esthetician school and working part time at a salon” after she leaves Snow.

Richens is the youngest of her family. During her free time she enjoys doing photography/film, room décor, arts and crafts, bonsai trees, hiking/outdoors, boating, dancing, yoga, working out, nutrition, hanging out, cosmetology, and aesthetics. Her favorite candy bar is Twix or Take 5 and she enjoys the summer or fall. Her favorite food is sushi or Italian food.

Lauren’s favorite holiday is Christmas along with one of her favorite family traditions: gingerbread house making. Some of her other favorite traditions are conference monkey bread, family reunions every summer, and hunting.

Her favorite TV show as a child was Dragon Tales and her childhood memory was “Going up to my ranch and riding on the tractors and having campfires.” She also loved her family vacation to Disneyland in California.

Richens’ loves this about herself: “I like how I am patient with others and am a good listener. I feel like I am an optimistic person.”

Go ahead and get to know this amazing woman of Snow College.
