Every year, Snow College holds an awards ceremony for students that go above and beyond in one of ten categories, including Student Employee of the Year, Club of the Year, Male or Female Athlete of the Year, and the prestigious Lorenzo Snow Award. Vice President for Student Success, Craig Mathie, said “[The award] epitomizes excellence in academics, character, and community participation. By naming the award after the founder, we want to recognize students that have gone above and beyond in those areas.” Mathie continued, praising the Snow College community, saying, “Every year we get more nominations. We’re pleased to see that the idea of recognizing each other is catching on. We’re grateful that more and more folks are taking a minute to look around them at students who go above and beyond.”
Nominations may be submitted until January 30, by visiting the Snow College website and clicking on the banner at the top of the page, or by visiting snow.edu/awards directly. The winners will be chosen, and awards will be presented on the night of April 14, 2016.
