Summer is coming up and Snow College offers a few opportunities here on campus during the summer months. From summer classes on campus and online to Summer Snow, which are one-week art classes taught by either teachers here or people that they hire from places like Pixar, there are several options available. If students want a job here in Ephraim over the summer one option is SnowFun.

SnowFun hires students of Snow College Students to work for the youth conference department. LDS wards from around the state come to Snow College to participate in these youth conference, especially during the two weeks of the Manti Mormon Miracle Pageant, where the Manti LDS Temple puts on a performance at the hill of the temple.

The students that work there have to be out going and be able to be assertive but energetic. They have certain activities that they do with the teenagers who come to participate. These activities include SnowFun Follies, which are water games followed by a giant water fight, Badger Blast which are outdoor activities such as giant twister and tandem bikes, and the SnowFun Ropes Course.

Being a part of the SnowFun staff requires one to be outgoing and well fun. These councilors are taught leadership skills that would be great on a resume. QUOTE

Rent in Ephraim in cheaper than during the school year. Most apartments charge about $160 a month for rent. Many students may find it is a good alternative to moving back in with mom and dad for the summer.
