Just imagine: it’s a Wednesday night after a long day at the library. A pack of ramen noodles are currently boiling on the stove and all that you college students can think about is what you’re going to do tonight.
Every Wednesday evening at the Ephraim Dance Hall above Roy’s Pizza, the western swing club presidency holds a dance for anyone who wants to come. For many students, dancing is like a foreign language, but that doesn’t matter. Student Natalie Hart explains, “I was nervous because I had never gone to the class or learned, but the guys there really helped me out. I even learned a line dance and some lifts”. Western swing is meant for everyone to come and learn as they go and it’s a great way to meet new people. Plus, it’s a Wednesday night and there isn’t much else to do, so why not come and have a good time? It starts at nine and costs only three dollars to get in. Come experience the fun and make memories that will last a lifetime.
