The Utah Jazz did not have a great start to their season last year, but an NBA-best second half of the season fueled them to a record of 38-44.
The Jazz are looking to start the season stronger this year and currently have a 2-1 record. They’ve won two games in a row, beating the Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers, after losing their season-opener to the Detroit Pistons.
Starting Power Forward Derrick Favors has led the team in scoring, with 26 points against the Pistons, 20 against the 76ers, and 18 against the Pacers.
Quin Snyder, Head Coach of the Jazz, is cautiously optimistic, knowing that the season is long, “We’ve got an opportunity to be a good team. It’s not like anybody or our team has done anything yet, but they are about to do something big this year. We’ve played well at times. Our individual players have played well at times.”
The Jazz play their first home game on Nov. 4, 2015 against the Portland Trail Blazers at 7 p.m.
