On November 1 and 2, Snow College went up against Utah State-Eastern (USU-E) and Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) closing out the regular season on the road. In both matches Snow College won: 3-1 against USU-E, and 3-0 against CNCC. The Lady Badgers had a total count of 93 kills over the weekend.
In their last two home matches of the season, on Oct. 25 and 26, the Lady Badgers came up short against very strong teams from Idaho. They faced College of Southern Idaho on Oct. 25 in a tough five-set match, 19-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-25, 9-15, losing to the Golden Eagles three sets to two.
On Oct. 26, Snow College played another intense five-set match against North Idaho College. The Badgers and Cardinals battled back and forth with the Cardinals taking the first set 25-13, and Snow College winning the next two sets 25-22, 25-23. The Cardinals tied things up winning the fourth set, 25-23. The final set was intense and well-fought for both teams, with Snow’s Madi Packard firing a service ace-to earn the win 15-13.
When asked about playing two five-set matches in consecutive days, Lady Badger Delayne Daniels said, “That shows all of our hard work. To go five games is tough. I am so proud of us!”
