The previous game was played against USU Eastern, ending with a score of 3-0. This next week they have a match against SLCC on Thursday and a match Saturday against TMCC. These matches can be viewed online at blueframe.com or the Snow College athletics website.
Leading the team with the most goals this season is freshman Emma Lindsey with 5 goals. She is followed by freshmen Sydney Cragun and Fiona Jensen with 3 goals each. When asked about being ranked 2nd in the nation, midfielder Kaiya Jefferson said, “Honestly, I feel that we deserve it!… Every day at each practice, we come out ready to work which has allowed us to win games moving us up to 2nd!” Jefferson also said “Season is great. We started off a little rough with some ties and a loss but it humbled us and made us more ambitious and eager to win the next games.” Their next home game is on October 16th at 1:30pm.
Many games are filled with energetic fans and students. When asked about the women’s team, freshman and big supporter of Snow’s sports teams Davis Hackney says, “I’m excited to see them play!! The games get super hype and they perform to their highest ability!” You can often find Hackney leading student sections in chants and cheers.
