Snow College Crushes is a Facebook page that many students follow.

Some students follow Snow College Crushes for entertainment purposes, while others follow the page in hopes of seeing a post about themselves. Because some people want to explain their feelings to their crush without feeling rejected, Snow College Crushes allows students to submit their crushes to be posted anonymously. Occasionally, this is misunderstood by students who unknowingly post their crushes directly to the page, allowing their identity to be known.

Several students have been known to submit crushes about themselves or about a friend who is feeling down.

“Whenever my friends are down, I try to put them on there so they can actually feel better,” said Dessie Trujillo, a student at Snow College.

For students who find posts about themselves, because it is a Facebook page, they are able to reply by leaving a comment on the post for the anonymous submitter to see.

Most people who have been posted about find out because one of their Facebook friends tags their name in the comments, sending a notification that allows them to be brought directly to the crush post.

Snow College Crushes is becoming more popular among Snow College students, creating a more fun and entertaining Facebook page for students to follow.

Madison Nicole Olsen is a sophomore at Snow College. She loves researching and writing about factual topics. This spring, she plans on transferring to Utah Valley University to obtain a Bachelor's degree in journalism. Some of her hobbies include four-wheeling, camping, and hiking.
