Snow College Convocations is in full swing, with numerous performers and speakers giving students a taste of the arts, culture, and inspiration.

3hattrio came to Snow College on September 15th to preform. These three men, Eli Wrankle, Hal Cannon, and Greg Istock, got together and created a group to play music unlike any other. At convocations they played multiple of their songs for the audience to listen to. There consider their music to be American Desert Music.

For Hispanic Heritage month Dr. Armando Solorzano came to Snow College on September 22nd to speak for Convocations. He addressed the audience about the background and history of Latinos in American and Utah. Kamron Finlinson, Snow College student said, “It was an enlightening experience.”

Nate Pence preformed and spoke during Convocations on September 29th. He gave an inspirational speech about his journey to becoming a touring performer. He spoke on having a well-rounded education, being driven and most importantly doing whatever makes each individual happy. After speaking, he wowed students with his voice.

For the remainder of the semester, convocations is open to students and the public on Thursdays at 12:30pm.
