Thursday nights at 6p.m., Art majors gather in the library auditorium to learn about different artists.

On March 5, we had the opportunity to listen to Michael Barton talk about his career in Art. He started at Snow College as a Communications major.  He went to SUU where he hoped to finish his degree.  Everything changed when he took an Intro to Graphic Design class and fell in love.  He decided to make graphic design his minor. He moved back to Sanpete County to work for the family business.  He had the opportunity to start his own business as a graphic designer and is very passionate about the work he does.

Last Thursday, they had the opportunity to hear from Snow College professor, Scott B. Allred a native Spring City Resident. Allred teaches drawing and painting classes, and works mainly on figures, portraits, and biblical narrative.

If you ever have a Thursday night, and want something to do, come and enjoy a talk from various artists as they tell their stories. You will have the opportunity to hear how people got where they are and why they are passionate about what they do.
