Snow College Badgerettes can be spotted at many Snow College home games here in Ephraim. They put on halftime performances during football and basketball games and cheer on our badgers on the sidelines.

The Badgerettes are coached by Karen Johnson who also doubles as the assistant athletic director for Snow College’s athletic department. Sophomore team member Aubree Jacobsen says, “I absolutely love being on badgerettes. Our coach is the best. I love Karen so much, she is like our second mom and she cares about each of us so much. She’s one of my biggest role models. I also have met some of my best friends while being on the team and I am forever grateful for them.”

Along with performing during halftime, the Badgerettes also have an end of year showcase coming up in February after the basketball season ends. It will be held in the main gym and everyone is welcome to attend. This showcase is an important time for the team to highlight their hard work and dedication throughout the year. “It’s my favorite because we get to do all our routines and it’s such a good way to end the year,” says Sophomore Chloe Wilcox

Every week these ladies work hard to be prepared for the upcoming game. “We know a lot of routines, so we usually pick one of them and clean it up and get it performance ready. For our practices we spend most of the time reviewing and perfecting our routines, and our dances we do on the sidelines,” says Wilcox. The Badgerettes put in hours of hard work each week to support our badgers.
