The Snow College men’s basketball team took to the court against the Colorado Kings, looking to earn their first home win of the season. Looking to pick up a much needed win in the early season after a 2-2 start, the Badgers looked to start their home campaign strong.

The Badgers came out victorious, and for most of the game, it wasn’t even close, as Snow College dominated and earned a 105-78 victory.

The Badgers started the first half strong, shooting a blistering 58% from the field. At halftime, Snow College had built up a 19 point lead.

The defense was smothering, as they held Colorado to only 33% shooting in the first half, as well as forcing nine turnovers.

The strong play in the second half continued for the home team, as the Badgers put up another

53 points from 54% shooting. The second half woes continued for the Kings, who never shot better than 38%, as they struggled to slow down the Badgers, who forced another eight turnovers.

Walter Wright was the star of the game for Snow College, as the 5’11” freshman dazzled with 31 points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals. Blake Truman, Chandler Smith, and Larenz Stalcup also finished with double figures for the Badgers, scoring 19, 11, and 10 points respectively.
