With the winter season fast approaching, practically on our doorsteps, you may be thinking about going on fewer dates. However, this fun winter season does not hinder you from dating! In fact, it adds so many more possibilities!

Winter is fun because of the snow. Snowball fights, snowman building contests, sledding, snowboarding or skiing, are all brilliant ideas for dates as the weather steadily gets colder.

Here in Sanpete, we have the beautiful Ephraim Canyon that will shortly get more snow. Instead of restricting yourself to indoor dates, bundling up and doing something outside is a much better idea and it gets you active and lets you better enjoy the snowy season.

After you make that awesome snowman or play an exciting game of “dodge the snowball,” one great idea is to go someplace warm, make delicious hot chocolate, and play card games or just talk. Enjoying good company and the warmth of hot coco is so much better after spending a day in the snow!

If you are totally opposed to going outside, you definitely can make inside dates just as good. Have a Wii party game night, go bowling, play twister, make up skits, karaoke, make homemade Christmas decorations, do a Walmart scavenger hunt, throw a dance party as the snow is falling, or anything else you can think of!

The moral of this winter season is that dating life doesn’t have to end because of the snow! Bundle up and go enjoy this 2013 winter season!
