Here in Ephraim Utah, there aren’t many housing options for a student at Snow College. Living off campus is a choice, but it is more likely, and more beneficial if residing here on campus.

Life as a student can get difficult, and where you live can affect you either in a positive or a negative way. Most apartments here will have shared space with other people. Having roommates can be a gift or a curse. If you are the type of person who doesn’t like to interact with many people, then you have the opportunity to get a private room.

What happens if you do have roommates? Well, if you do, then you probably know how to make friends and be social, or you will probably learn how to very quickly. Communication has a very important role in college life. If there is a problem at all between roommates, it is important to talk about any issues that arise. It is better to deal with problems when they are small, but it is just as significant to talk about them when they are bigger.

This also applies to friends and even professors. If you want to be successful in life, learn how to communicate effectively. Dealing with problems immediately when they arise can help prevent future headaches. Communication is not just necessary for dealing with issues, but helps in all relationships for all purposes.

Gaining friends and making memories is a benefit that comes with living on college campus. Morgan Curtis, a student at Snow College shares her thoughts, “Living on campus is a great way to meet other people and to get involved. I don’t think I’d have as many friends if I didn’t live on campus.” Not only is it good for meeting people, but it is also a great way to learn about and be around different cultures and lifestyles. Many students from different lifestyles and even different countries attend college. These experiences will help profit you all throughout your life.

Living on campus is a great way to stay connected to all the events Snow College holds. It is a convenient way to stay connected with elections, job opportunities, and all the fun activities that are always going on. Snow College has dances, cultural events, and other recreation that students can go to to meet new people, or just as a good activity to do with friends.

Another great advantage about living on campus is proximity. Everything is close by and easily accessible. The Library is one of the many useful buildings located on campus. Because Snow College campus isn’t very large, almost every apartment is within walking distance of this beneficial building. This makes it easier for many students regarding parking, cost of gas, and trying to cross the street. For students who don’t live on campus, it is important that they can find parking nearby. It helps when students walk to their classes whenever they can. It also helps reduce traffic for those trying to cross the street.

Living on campus holds many benefits. Everything is nearby and easily accessed. You will make friends, attend great activities, and make wonderful memories. If you get the opportunity to live on a college campus, you should definitely do it. It will change your life for the better, and who knows? You just might meet a really good friend, or even your future spouse here on college campus.
