Snow College offers many clubs, one of it’s lesser known clubs is the Clogging Club.  Clogging is a type of folk dance where the dancer uses metal on the bottom of their shoes to make beats.

The club meets on Tuesdays in the Activity Center.  They learn technique and different dances in different styles.  They spend their meetings performing and learning together as a group.

Lillian Wade, who is a clogger herself says, “I love clogging.  The community around the art form has really made me who I am.  I have met some of my best friends through clogging.”

If you would like to join the Clogging Club join the channel on the Snow App.

Emily Parnell is a Sophomore communications major at Snow College. She has a great passion for writing and reading. She joined The Snowdrift newspaper to help her pursue a career in public relations.
