Music pulsed through the air as students slowly made their way around the circle of tables,
taking in all the choices of clubs that were available, gathering information, and sometimes receiving a
treat for stopping by. A little something for everyone, from Ballroom to CSI, and Japan Culture to
Theatre there was no shortage of Freshman Badgers signing up for something of their particular
interest.
From August twenty sixth and twenty seventh for about three hours, at the center of Bell Tower
Field, students had the option of signing up for a variety of sorts like sports ones like Soccer, Tennis, and
Rodeo or extracurricular ones like Theatre, Communication, and Snow Service. Clubs are a wonderful
way to kick back, and relax from the stress and pressure of school.
There was plenty of activities to keep students occupied as well, such as Giant Twister, trying
their luck at roping a bull, or just messing around with a soccer ball with your friends! Then, heading
over to the GSC, students could grab a bite to eat at the Food Show, with different varieties of yummy
treats available set up at each table. Who doesn’t like free food!
There is no better way to start off a school year, and you make new friends in the process! If
you need more information about the clubs, just go to the Clubs and Organization section of the school
website! You can email each club leader and maybe even find a few more clubs that interest you.
