The Honors Program at Snow is hosting a hunger banquet. This banquet is open to all students at Snow College. The Hunger Banquet is based on a program developed by the Oxfam organization. Their purpose is to educate everyone at the banquet on issues of global hunger and poverty, and what can be done to effectively address this issue. Students are invited to come and learn more about what can be done.
Dinner will be served to all who come. The banquet will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 in the Noyes building. The banquet dinner will start at 6:00 p.m. The Civic Engagement and Service Learning program is going to be there to teach us about world hunger and poverty.
Participants will be able to eat dinner while listening to live music from the talented Snow Jazz students.
Students will be getting a good dinner, listen to some good music, see some community presenters, and learn how to help stop world hunger. Students will get to do all of that for free. The Honors Program and the Civic Engagement and Service Learning program is hoping to see everyone there. Don’t miss out on the Hunger Banquet.
