Despite trailing by almost 20 at the start of the game, the Lady Badgers were able to come back and force overtime as they hosted North Idaho College (NIC) on Jan. 10.

Unfortunately, Snow fell to NIC after missing their final shot with 0.4 left in overtime, resulting in their third loss of the season.

The Lady Badgers now stand at a 15-3 overall record, while being 3-2 in Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) play.

Struggling with injuries and three losses in four of their last games, the team has things to work through. “The girls have talent,” says Assistant Coach Brett Sawyer, hopeful that they can work through the adversity.

With five home and five road games remaining before the SWAC tournament begins, they still have plenty of time to put themselves back into top contention in the SWAC.

“We are excited,” says Coach Sawyer, as he looks ahead to the rest of the season.

With lots of potential to reach that top spot in the SWAC in the upcoming games, things are looking hopeful for the Lady Badgers.

The Lady Badgers are back in action on Jan. 24 as they host number 11 ranked Salt Lake Community College.
