Learn About Culture Through Food

Don't forget to like and share! 🙂

Snow College’s International Food Festival will be happening this year on April 13th. Snow College students relate little bit about their experiences.

Faith Fullmer remarks, “I think that it’s a great experience to taste food from around the world. It’s great to be able to experience other people’s culture through food.”

This is very true; students are able to get a feel of what food is like in other countries when they come to the food festival. Snow College hosts this festival every year, where International students are able to share a bit of their culture with everyone.

Skylor Pionke, who lived for three months in Ukraine, tells a little bit about her International food experience, “Pigeon isn’t as bad as you think it would be. Hot chocolate is so much better when it is melted chocolate in a cup.”

Students everywhere can show the importance of being able to experience other cultures’ food.

Diego Avila shares his experience, “Trying new food is always fun. I once went to try Korean food and I liked it and my friend didn’t. It’s a really fun experience to taste food from different cultures.”

So when the time comes, visit the Snow College International Food Festival at the Greenwood Student Center to support fellow Badgers in the community. Go Badgers!
