Snow College President Scott Wyatt has been chosen as one of four finalists for
Southern Utah University new school president.

Scott Wyatt became the Snow College’s president in 2007. Since then, many great
things have happened at Snow College, such as being ranked among the top ten junior
colleges in the U.S. He has also been instrumental in a stable enrollment at Snow
College, despite a drop across the state at other institutions due to the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) missionary age change.

After turning down many nominees for similar jobs, President Wyatt was persuaded to
apply for the position at SUU. President Wyatt recently stated, “Please know that I
enjoy my job here and feel I have many friends at Snow College. My family and I will be
happy to continue working with all of you if I am not asked to transfer to SUU.”
