Many events and activities take place each semester on Snow College campus. As the semester ends, here is a recap of some of those activities and events.
Snow College started off with quite the chill. Many buckets of ice water were dumped on the heads of students, professors, and even President Carlston. It was all for a good cause, making all aware of the disease ALS.
Homecoming was great, except when they thought it was going out with a “bang,” due to a suspected bomb threat originating on social media. College and local police personnel took matters into their own hands and kept the football game a safe environment.
Now is not the time to head to Africa as the Ebola virus is spreading like wildfire. America has taken its own measures to ensure the virus is contained within its own boundaries.
One of baseball’s greatest players retired. Many people admired the way Derek Jeter played. Baseball fans will miss him.
Bailey Vera stated, “I have really enjoyed this semester at Snow College and I hope all the rest of my schooling experience is as fun as this last semester.”
Overall, this semester has been one to remember. Let’s hope the future turns out even better.
