Snow College has a long history of quality theater productions. The next show to add to the list is coming up soon. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is a musical full of laughs and romance and, of course, lots of fun.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is set in 1850 Oregon. It is based on a MGM movie musical and the stage version upholds all of the boisterous enthusiasm that was in the movie. Alaynah Woodhouse, who plays the character of Lisa (one of the brides) loves “being able to be in a cheesy romantic show!” The best part of it for her is that “I get to live my old-soul kind of dream through Lisa of meeting with a stranger, dancing a huge number with him, and falling in love with him.”

Snow College’s production will be opening on February 20. The show will run from February 20 through the 22 and then will be shown again on February 27, February 28, and March 1.

When the actors have fun, the audience has fun and that will be what happens with Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. For each of the performances, the doors will open at 7:00 P.M. and the curtain will be at 7:30 P.M. Tickets will be $3 for Snow College students with their activity card, $9 for adults, and $8 for children and seniors.

If you’re looking for a night of laughs and entertainment, then go check out Snow College’s production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers later this month.
