Don't forget to like and share! 🙂

The Utah Flute Association, or the UFA, held a special event Saturday in Salt Lake City. The UFA is a non-profit organization created to promote great flute music in the community saying, “It is our goal to promote the sharing and enjoyment of the flute repertoire and to facilitate a network of flute lovers.”

Students Jamie Baker, McKenzie Howell, Anna Clawson, and Jennifer Richards performed in a special master class given by Professor Nickolas Duchamps from the Paris Conservatory of Music. These Flutists competed against college students throughout the state while performing three extremely difficult pieces.

Placing for Snow were Jamie Baker, who placed 1st, and McKenzie Howell, who placed 3rd, in the competition.

The Snowdrift would like to congratulate to all the students who performed and commend the hard-working faculty that prepared them.
