The Snow College softball team traveled to Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) for a four-game set this past weekend. The team faced off against the #17 ranked team in the nation, SLCC.
In the first game, the Badgers started out down 6-0 to the Bruins, but then rallied back in the 6th inning to tie the game. In the 7th inning, Snow came up big to take the lead and then held off SLCC to win the game.
In the second game, the Badgers came out swinging and scored first, but that didn’t last long as the game was a battle as both teams were trading runs back and forth. The game ended with the Bruins edging the Badgers 7-4.
In the third and fourth games SLCC came out well prepared and capitalized on the few Snow errors. The third game ended with a score of 10-2 and the fourth game 12-4 with SLCC taking three of the four games from the Badgers.
SLCC now has a record of 13-3 which is ahead of Snow’s 1-5 record.
