The softball game this past weekend between Snow College and the College of Southern Nevada was preceded with a mixture of rain, snow, and temperatures in the thirties. However, the rain and snow stopped by the time the game began, promising for a cold, but good game.
Snow’s starting line up: Cassidy Anderson, No. 7, playing shortstop, Emily Street in center field, Shaylee Larsen on first, MaKenzie Simons on second, Alyssa Arslanian on third, Autumn Dzierzon as catcher, Carley Guymon as designated player, Ashlynn Peterson in left field, AnnMarie Allred in right field, and Kimbri Herring, No. 5, as pitcher.
The College of Southern Nevada started off with two left handers up to bat, and then Snow ended their inning with Snow’s catcher throwing them out on second on a steal. The first and second innings continued pretty quietly, but in the bottom of the third Snow rallied with twelve points scored, ending that inning with a score of 13-0.
The softball team ended the game in the fifth inning with a score of 13-2. Congratulations with another impressive win.
