The Rowdy Crowd is Snow College’s student section that cheers on the Badgers at any sporting event. Students in the Rowdy Crowd get as loud as possible to encourage our Badgers while they compete against other teams.

Scott Mathie is the current advisor of the Rowdy Crowd. Mathie said that there was a Rowdy Crowd when he was a student at Snow, so when he started working for the school, he restarted the club in order to organize and bring back its popularity.

Students are enticed to join the Rowdy Crowd by free t-shirts, rowdy rags, or megaphones. These items are given to students who arrive to the games early and sit and cheer with the Rowdy Crowd.

The Rowdy Crowd also rewards enthusiastic participants in the crowd with the Rowdy Badger Award. Mathie says the award goes to those who are “loud, proud, and rowdy all game long”.

The Rowdy Crowd Club can be found on several forms of social media. Their Facebook name is Snow College Rowdy Crowd. They can be found on Instagram and Snapchat under the name SnowRowdyCrowd. The Rowdy Crowd club posts information on these sites regarding upcoming games and any themes such as white-out games.

Scott Mathie said that other teams and coaches have commented how great our Rowdy Crowd is. Any student wanting to be a part of the Rowdy Crowd can easily join by attending any Snow College game.
