True Badger Night is rapidly approaching, and it’s time for students to get their smooch on!  This semester’s True Badger Night is scheduled for October 27th.

What is True Badger Night exactly, and how are students preparing for it?  True Badger Night is a fun tradition at Snow College where students can unwind for a night and swap a little saliva in search of the title of True Badger.

Once a semester, the night of a full moon, Snow puts on a dance. As fun as the dance is, things begin to really liven up right before the clock strikes midnight.  Students gather outside under the bell tower ready to get their Badger on.  To become a True Badger, students must kiss someone for all twelve strikes of the clock.

If you’re wondering who you are going to kiss, the answer is pretty simple.  Some students bring their significant other, some arrange a hot date beforehand, and most students just show up and get friendly.  A good way to indicate that you are single and ready to mingle is to wear red.

Preparation for True Badger Night is simple.  Make sure to moisturize those lips, brush those teeth, and deodorize those pits!

If kissing someone under the bell tower doesn’t sound particularly appealing to you, there is always the dance beforehand.  True Badger Night is an experience any Snow student should have.  So go, have fun, and get your smooch on, True Badgers!
