The Snow College volleyball team is getting ready to participate in the Scenic West Athletic Conference Tournament this weekend after finishing their regular season schedule. The tournament begins on Fri., Nov. 6 and is taking place in Gooding, Idaho, home of the College of Southern Idaho.

Snow plays in a particularly tough conference, featuring national powerhouses such as Salt Lake Community College and the College of Southern Idaho, teams consistently ranked in the top ten in the country. The Badgers finished the regular season with a record of 11-17 and are entering the tournament as a no. 4 seed.

Sophomore outside hitter Brooke Lamb commented on the season by saying, “Our team played well in the regular season. We worked together, fought hard, and have become very close.” The Lady Badgers have a difficult tournament ahead of them, but Lamb knows her team can rise to the occasion, “We have to play some tough teams, but if we play to out potential, we could do great things.”

Snow will begin the tournament facing off against the no. 6 seeded Colorado Northwestern Community College Friday at noon.
