MLB World Series

As the MLB postseason is wrapping up, 10 teams have been eliminated, and two teams remain. The two teams that remain are the Philadelphia Phillies and the Houston Astros.

As the Phillies marched their way through other teams such as the St. Louis Cardinals winning the series 2-0. The Phillies advanced to the next series to play the Atlanta Braves. The Phillies won that series 3-1. Which then let them advance to the National League Division Series against the San Diego Padres. The Phillies beat the Padres 3-1 in the series, Which meant that the Phillies advanced to the World Series to face the Houston Astros. The Astros had to play other teams such as the Seattle Mariners which the Astros won 3-0. Then the Astros went on to play the New York Yankees, and the Astros won that series 3-0.

At the start of the postseason, the team picked to win the World Series was the LA Dodgers. They ended up getting beat by the San Diego Padres 3-1. The team now picked to win the World Series is the Houston Astros. The Phillies are looked at as the underdog in the series with a regular season record of 87-75 (85 wins, 75 losses). As the Astros have a better record of 106-56 (106 wins, 56 losses).
