The weather is warming and preparing us for the fun times ahead in summer. But sometimes, it can be difficult to know exactly what you want to do. After speaking with some of the student body, here is a list that will get you in the mood for the warm weather ahead.

Many students spoke about hiking, whether here in Ephraim by hiking the Snow College ‘S’ or the countless number of National Parks that Utah has to offer. Such as Zion, the Arches, and Bryce Canyon was mentioned.

“There's nothing like being in nature and spending time outside rather than being stuck in a classroom, that's what I’m most excited about this summer,” said Kaylie J.

The second most mentioned in the list was being on the lake, boating, fishing, or just relaxing by the lake is what many students are excited about, taking time to slow down by Bear Lake.

But if none of that seems to interest you, Utah still has many cultural events to visit such as The Utah Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City runs performances throughout the summer in both outdoor and indoor venues, featuring Shakespearean classics alongside contemporary productions.

Salt Lake City's downtown hosts the Utah Arts Festival in June, while the Sundance Summer Film Series presents outdoor screenings of independent films in various locations.

The Utah Symphony performs at Deer Valley Resort's outdoor amphitheater, where picnicking on the hillside has become a local tradition.

Utah has a little bit for everyone. Happy summer break badgers!
