SCAIS Club Meets for First Time

Snow College has quite a few clubs already. One of the first clubs of fall 2025 was Snow College Artificial Intelligence Society, or SCAIS.

SCAIS’s goal is to help students better understand how AI will affect school life and their future employment. Learning how to use AI can wildly increase understanding and productivity if used correctly.

At the same time, it is important to understand how to use AI responsibly. The SCAIS club isn’t just informative; it has plans to learn and play just as hard with its many members.

SCAIS already has 46 members, but Club President Kaden Baxter thinks that it is not enough. “No matter where they are at in AI, if they are scared of it, they like it, if they cheat with it, we want them here. Because this is where they learn how to grow with AI and how to be better.”

SCAIS’s Vice President Jesùs Sunuc Tuyuc adds, “Everyone is welcome, it's not just for software engineering, it's for everyone, every major.”
