The Snow College newspaper, The Snowdrift, is a club. While it hasn’t held its first meeting yet, it will be the perfect place for students to decide if the class behind The Snowdrift, Media Writing, is for them.

Soon they will be meeting once a month in room 310 of the Lucy Phillips building. The goal of The Snowdrift club is to keep the newspaper running by letting members discuss and add their own work to the paper.

Those who attend can turn in their work to potentially have it added to the paper. They can learn what goes on behind the scenes and gain experience from those already working with the paper.

Club President Dylan Johnson says “New students could benefit from working with more experienced students, with these older students being put in leadership roles.”
