Snow College offers multiple different labs to help you with your assignments. There is

the Math Lab, Writing Lab, Speech Lab, and Computer Lab. All of the labs are free for students.

Most of the labs are student run.

The Math Lab is in the Noyes building room number 101. The lab is open from

Monday-Thursday: 10:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. On Fridays it is open from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

This lab is here for help with math. The math lab is student run. This is a helpful resource for

Snow College students to get more help. This is a free resource for Snow College students.

The Writing Lab is located in the Humanities building in room 165. This lab is run by

other Snow College students and free to use. The Writing Lab is open from Monday – Thursday:

8:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Finally on Saturday 1:30 p.m. – 5:30

p.m.

Snow College’s Speech Lab is student run, open for all students and free to use. It is best

to make an appointment. This lab is located in the Lucy Phillips Building room number 204. The

lab hours are as follows. Monday – Thursday from 2:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

This is great for those that are doing a speech or presentation in class. Some professors offer

extra credit for going to this lab. This is also for students but you will need to make an

appointment. Braxton Houtz a Snow College student says “I would 100% recommend it to a

student that needed help making their speech or presentation, especially if they aren’t confident

in front of their peers.”

Finally there are the two Computer Labs on the Ephraim Campus. The first one is the

Computer Lab in the Library basement. The library also has laptops that you can rent. The hours

for the Library Computer lab are Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. On Saturdays the

hours are 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday it is 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Ash Powers, a Snow College student said “It was a little confusing at first but there were lots of people willing to help figure it out. Would go again.” The computers downstairs are also the place that you can print papers. The cost to print gets added to your school account.

The lesser known Computer Lab is in the Business Building room 139. Open use is from

5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday. If not being used by a class the hours are also

Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Both of these labs are not run by students but are

free for Snow students to use.
