Although Saturday’s game against Salt Lake Community College may have looked rough on the scoreboard, it didn’t show how things were on the field.
The Snow College women’s soccer team played SLCC on Saturday. The final score was 4-1. Most of the opposing team's goals came from corners, making it feel unlucky since Snow controlled much of the game.
Brenna Arauzo scored the only goal for Snow after a great combination play above the box, putting it away for one of the best moments of the game. Daisy Williams, the goalkeeper, summed it up perfectly: “The score doesn’t reflect off how we performed.” Even Arauzo admitted, “The game was mid,” but her goal showed the quality the team brought.
Even though the game ended in a loss, the way Snow played showed hardwork, teamwork, and promise for the rest of the season.
